    Mr Jonathan Wilson is an experienced colorectal and general surgeon with expertise in laparoscopic procedures. He spends time at Whittington Hospital in North London treating NHS patients and also provides services for private clients at The London Clinic on Harley Street. Mr Jonathan Wilson provides a wide range of services and treatments, including:

    Mr Jonathan Wilson graduated in 1996 from Leeds University School of Medicine and acquired valuable clinical experience at hospitals in and around the area like St James’ Hospital. During his time at the hospital he held the position of Senior House Officer in general surgery, orthopaedic surgery and plastic surgery.

    In 2001 Mr Wilson was awarded the Medical Research Council (MRC) Clinical Research Fellowship and was later honoured with a PhD for his work on the role of ‘macrophage migration as an inflammation factor’. He also undertook study into colorectal cancer at the University of Leeds Molecular Medicine Unit under the guidance of Professor Mark Hull.

    Mr Wilson transferred his skills to London in 2007 and specialised in colorectal and general surgery, spending time at the prestigious University College London Hospital. He later gained the position of Resident Surgical Officer at St Mark’s Hospital, Harrow, one of the world’s leading colorectal units. In 2010 he was awarded an Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) Colorectal Fellowship to enhance his aptitude in minimally invasive surgery.
