Mr Christopher Chan is an experienced general and colorectal surgeon with sub-speciality in coloproctology. He graduated from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 1991, after which he undertook surgical training in Cambridge and London before being awarded the Medical Research Council (MRC) Fellowship into pelvic floor muscle failure, for which he was later awarded a PhD.
After gaining an incredible array of qualifications, Mr Chan then completed further sub-speciality training posts in London, Harrow, Sydney and Paris. His work has been published extensively and he is highly regarded by colleagues and patients alike.
In addition to treating patients, Mr Chan is also a lecturer and is actively involved in educating at all levels. He also finds time to speak at medical conferences and events across the world.
